How does God define Marriage?
Jesus was once again tempted by the Pharisees asking if it was lawful to divorce. Jesus reminded them that Moses wrote bills of divorce due to the hardness of their hearts. From the beginning of creation, God made man and woman. When a man and woman are married, they are to leave their father and mother and become one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. God intended marriage to be between a man and a woman for life.
If you are married, are you and your spouse on the same team functioning as one? Are you doing everything you can to protect your marriage? If you are unmarried, do you define marriage as a permanent commitment, as God does?
