Journey With Jesus 365ਨਮੂਨਾ

Matthew chapter 5 begins with Jesus delivering His Sermon on the Mount. He speaks to His disciples and the crowds about the characteristics of those who are blessed in the kingdom of heaven, known as the Beatitudes. He teaches that the meek, merciful, pure in heart, and those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be rewarded. Jesus also emphasizes the importance of being salt and light in the world, urging His followers to live in a way that glorifies God. He explains that He did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it, teaching that true righteousness was found in Him, not a set of rules. The chapter concludes with teachings on anger, reconciliation, adultery, divorce, oaths, and loving one's enemies, calling His followers to a higher standard of holiness and love.
How can you live out the principles of the Beatitudes in your daily lives? In what ways can you be "salt and light" to those around you, by reflecting God's love and righteousness?
