Living in Increase (Part 3) - Increase in Purposeਨਮੂਨਾ

Next Steps for Serving
Our reasonable service is offering our whole selves as a living sacrifice to God (Romans 12:1). First, we must serve God and worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24). Serving God with all our hearts will lead us to serve others. Second, serving is a posture of our heart, not only something we do. Look for ways to consider others before yourself at your job, grocery store, coffee shop, etc.
Now, find out how to serve at your local church. Ask a leader at your church how you can be more involved. Identify a need and fill it.
I do think it’s important to be realistic about how much time you have. You ALWAYS have time to serve, but it may look different in different seasons of your life. If you’re taking care of a sick parent, you are serving. God sees you. Remember, you live to glorify an audience of One, not to check off a box.
Your next step is to serve God and His people.

Action Step: Say this prayer: “Lord, thank You for giving me gifts. I pray that I glorify You in using those gifts. Reveal any deception in my life regarding the gifts You’ve given me. Lead me to live a life of service to You and others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
