Think about a time when someone in your family did something nice for you, like making your favorite meal or helping you with a project. They didn’t have to do it, but they did it because they care about you. That’s what love can look like—helping others just because we care. God wants us to do the same. We make our own choices, but God asks us to use that freedom to be kind and help others. It’s like choosing to do something nice, not because we have to show love to others but because we want to show love to others. When we serve others in love, we’re doing what God hopes for us—spreading God’s kindness in small, everyday ways.

This week, look for ways to go the extra mile to serve others and show them love.
