Reading With the People of God #9 - Faithfulnessਨਮੂਨਾ

Memorization Challenge:
13 And now behold the king whom you have chosen, for whom you have asked; behold, the Lord has set a king over you. 14 If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well. 15 But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you and your king. - Samuel 12:13-15
Primer:
In today’s readings, we see God’s faithfulness in equipping and empowering His people. Saul leads Israel to victory, showing God’s hand at work through him. Meanwhile, Jesus promises living water to those who believe, a reminder of the Spirit’s empowering presence. These stories encourage us to trust in God’s faithfulness to equip us for the tasks He calls us to.
Question to reflect on: How can you rely on the Holy Spirit to empower your faithfulness in the work God has given you?
