Our Hopeਨਮੂਨਾ

LOVE: connects us deeply with others.
“And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.”
1 Thessalonians 1:6-7
- When you are upset, you probably don’t like being asked if you’re okay. Some of the best compassion comes from simply meeting someone where they are or just sitting with them. We see this in the Bible when Jesus sat with sinners. He was not quick to speak. That is what we should do, imitate Jesus.
- When we imitate the Lord, we imitate His joy, His love, and His affliction of others. In this season where the world is so fixed on what they can receive, let’s be focused on what the Lord wants us to be focused on—each other. This is a season to lift each other with His love that will make us examples but also make us receptive to His character. Today, think of a way to embrace His love for others and make it your mission to encourage and uplift someone else. Be an example of Christ's love.
