ARE YOU WORRIED?
What does God say about our anxious thoughts?
Watch the video, then spend a few minutes reflecting on the questions and prayers below.
READ
"So I tell you, don’t worry about the food or drink you need to live, or about the clothes you need for your body. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes."
Matthew 6:25 NCV
THINK
When you're worried about something, what do you do about it?
- I tell a friend or someone else I trust.
- I talk to God.
- I try to fix the problem.
- It depends what I'm worried about.
- I pretend I'm okay (but I'm not really).
DO
Tell God about anything you're worrying about right now, big things or small things.
How do you feel after doing that?
- I feel better about them now.
- I'm still worried, but I'm trusting God.
- I can't stop worrying.
- I don't think God heard me.
PRAY
Help me to tell You everything I'm worried about. It's hard, but I can trust You to take away my worry and fear.
