Daily Bible Reading— November 2024, God’s Guiding Word: Praise and Thanksgivingਨਮੂਨਾ

November 8
Introduction
Psalm 127: The opening verses in today’s reading express dependence on God. The writer acknowledges God as the source of all blessings. In ancient times, the gift of children provided the family with economic support and help with daily tasks.
Today’s Key Verse: Psalm 127:3
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a real blessing.
Reflect
Verses 1 and 2 acknowledge that human effort is useless apart from God. In what ways do you demonstrate your dependence on God? In what ways does your community of faith celebrate the blessing of children? For what will you thank God today?
Pray
Faithful God, you are the source of all things. I can do nothing without you. Thank you for loving me and providing for me. How thankful I am that you alone are God; I place my trust in you and stand on your holy word. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Psalm 128: A psalm of blessing.
