Through the Valley of Griefਨਮੂਨਾ

“By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.”
-1 John 4:13
Kind people have likely asked you what you need in this difficult time. Embrace their help and thank God for those he sends to walk this tough road with you. There are countless things you need right now in order to survive, to heal, to believe in real hope for your situation again. But don’t forget that what you need most is the Spirit of God.
The Holy Spirit is called the Helper, given to God’s children that they may have access to his wisdom, power, strength, and understanding (John 14:26). He is what enabled Daniel to stand up to the evil Nebuchadnezzar, even in the face of a brutal death threat. He is what empowered Paul to continually risk his life for the sake of sharing the gospel. He is what emboldened Jesus to resist the devil’s temptation in the desert and, ultimately, to overcome the grave. Embrace all the help you get from generous people in your life, but remember, your greatest asset is already dwelling inside of you. Call on Holy Spirit to lead you and provide all that you need.
Reflect on the truth that your ultimate source of hope and healing power is already in your full possession. Ask Holy Spirit for the help you need today.
