Day 6: The Joy of Submission
**Reflection:**
Submission is often misunderstood in today’s culture, but it is a beautiful act of love and respect in the biblical context. Ephesians 5:22-24 calls wives to submit to their husbands as unto the Lord, recognizing God has established order in marriage. This submission is not about inferiority but about honoring God’s design.
1 Peter 3:1-2 highlights the power of a wife’s submission, even when the husband may not be a believer. Your behavior, purity, and reverence can speak louder than words, winning your husband over to the Lord.
Colossians 3:18 reinforces the call to submission, describing it as fitting in the Lord. Submission in marriage is about mutual respect, love, and partnership. It’s about trusting God’s order and allowing your marriage to reflect Christ and the Church.
Embrace the joy of submission today, knowing it is a powerful expression of your love for God and your husband.
**Prayer:**
Lord, help me to embrace the joy of submission in my marriage. Teach me to honor my husband and to trust Your design for our relationship. May our marriage be a testimony of Your love and grace. Amen.
