Fast Food Faithਨਮੂਨਾ

Today, take time to pray about laying down anything in your life that may be making you too comfortable. Ask God to open your eyes to see areas of your life that you need to grow in; be willing to allow Him to work in your life so that you can grow in your relationship with Him even if it isn’t according to your preference. Below will be a prayer you can use if needed.
God,
Thank you for loving me and for giving me your grace so freely. There are areas in my life that need to be surrendered/re-surrendered to You. I choose to lay those areas down today and follow you. God, give me strength and endurance to pick up my cross daily and follow your plan over mine. Forgive me when I choose to be comfortable over obedient. God, how great your love is to be long-suffering and patient with me. I believe that there is more to gain when I lose myself in surrender to You. God, You are greater than the conveniences that this world has to offer. Thank you for all that You are doing in my life.
In Jesus name,
Amen

About this Plan

Why does America like fast food? Because it’s quick, convenient, and tastes amazing. But when we view our faith through that lens, we become spiritually out of shape consumers who end up living a faith dependent on speed, convenience, and hyper-palatability. But God’s desire for us in life is to slow down and live lives of intentional discipleship; to develop lasting faith in a fast culture.
