Find Inspiration From Biblical Familiesਨਮੂਨਾ

God's design for humanity
We perceive God as the creator and source of all things created and known. Therefore, the concept of design and order is intrinsic to God’s character. Creation, order, and design all point to God as a source for what is to come in the creation of humanity and the earth.
A survey of the Bible on the topic of family produced very interesting results. All the references to family in the Bible can be grouped into five categories: humanity organized by families, humanity resourced through families, humanity redeemed in families, human societies built through families, and finding life purpose through families.
Families are made up of individuals, yet individuals find their identity in a family context.
Questions for Reflection:
- What’s your reaction to the notion that there’s a design for families?
- What is the purpose of families today?
- How would you envision the concept of family in God’s core identity?
