Developing Christian Virtuesਨਮੂਨਾ

Self-Control (Egkrateia)
Self-control, or "egkrateia," is the ability to control our desires and passions. This virtue is crucial to prevent our emotions and impulses from leading us away from God's path. Self-control allows us to stay focused on Christ and resist temptations that could lead us to sin. It involves the ability to respond wisely in challenging situations rather than reacting impulsively. By cultivating self-control, we become more like Christ, who always demonstrated perfect control over His desires and emotions. This helps us live in a way that glorifies God in every situation.
Reflection Question: In what areas of my life do I need more self-control, and how can I develop it?
