Be Humbleਨਮੂਨਾ

It’s easy to look for our confidence in what we’re good at or how others see us. If our friends say we’re pretty, we find confidence in their words. If we make the starting lineup on our team, we find confidence in that accomplishment. If we’re popular at school, we find confidence in that status. And while that may be nice while it lasts, the reality is, eventually, that will change. And when it does, then where will we put our confidence?
That’s why we need to view our confidence not in the way the world does but in the way God does. While the world may look at things like status, accomplishment, and more for confidence, we can find our confidence in God. That is one thing that will never change!
Today, write this verse down where you’ll see it often. Each time you come across it, pray it out loud quietly, asking God to help you see yourself and your confidence through God’s eyes and nowhere else.
