God’s Generosity to the Upright

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11 (ESV).

God generously gives favor and honor to those who live righteously, holding nothing back that is good. His role as a “sun and shield” means He provides both guidance and protection, ensuring that our path is illuminated and safe. This generosity reflects His heart for those who seek to walk in His ways, promising that our upright living will never be in vain.

How does God’s promise to withhold no good thing encourage you to walk uprightly?
