That You May Knowਨਮੂਨਾ

The Work of Jesus Christ
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. (Luke 19:10, ESV).
Jesus came to Earth with a clear Mission: to seek and save the lost. On the Cross, He declared, “It is finished,” signifying that our debt of sin was paid in full (John 19:30). His Sacrifice was complete and sufficient. Jesus’ Work on the Cross is the Foundation of our faith, and it assures us that our sins are forgiven once and for all. Hebrews 10:12 reminds us that Jesus, after offering One Sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the Right Hand of God, signifying that the Work was fully accomplished.
How does knowing that Jesus’ Work on the Cross is complete and sufficient affect your understanding of Salvation?
Prayer: Father God, Thank You for sending Jesus to seek and save the lost. I am grateful for His Finished Work on the Cross that paid the price for my sins. Help me to rest in the assurance that my Salvation is secure because of what Jesus has done, not because of anything I can do. May I live in the freedom and joy that comes from knowing that my debt has been paid in full. In Jesus name, Amen.
