The Bible has a Purpose

That the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:17 (ESV).

The ultimate purpose of the Bible is to equip us for every good work. It helps us mature in our faith, preparing us to fulfill God’s assignments with excellence. By immersing ourselves in Scripture, we become fully prepared to serve and glorify God in all we do.

Are you allowing the Bible to equip you for God’s work? What steps can you take to become more prepared for the assignments He gives you?

Prayer: Father God, Thank You for the purpose and direction found in Your Word. Equip me through Scripture to fulfill the good works You have planned for me. Help me to grow in maturity and readiness to serve You in every area of my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
