Stories of Prayer in the Bibleਨਮੂਨਾ

Come, Lord Jesus!
What better way to end this Bible Reading Plan than with the prayer the Bible ends with?
The Bible concludes with a prayer of longing for Christ’s return. We know that Jesus will come back to Earth someday because he told us so! But as our world continues to break down into conflict, disease, and destruction, it’s easy to wish he’d hurry up already.
This prayer expresses the early Church’s anticipation of Jesus’ return and the fulfillment of God’s ultimate plan to restore the world. As we live with eager expectation of Christ’s return, we can let this hope shape our actions and perspective, remaining strong and faithful in our walk with God.
