Connecting With God | Dive Deeperਨਮੂਨਾ

Week 5 | Abiding In Him
Day Three
Spend some time in prayer before you begin. Ask the Holy Spirit to rest on you while you read this word today.
- Read Romans 8:1-14 again but this time try reading it in a different version than you did before, look up the definitions of words you don’t know, summarize what the passage is saying in your own words.
- Do some research, who wrote Romans? When was it written? To whom was it written? What genre of writing is it (Historical narrative, poetry, wisdom literature, law, prophesy, parables, epistles)? Why is all of this important?
- Do you think this passage teaches us about God’s creation, man’s sin, God’s redemption of man, or God’s restoration of man to Himself? It can be more than one. Why is it important to think about this?
- How does knowing God does not condemn those who are in Christ Jesus change how you view Him? Why do you think there is no condemnation for us who are in Christ?
- What does this passage say are the benefits of living in the Spirit? What can you do in your own life to live more in the Spirit?
- Spend some time in prayer as you close, thank God for sending Christ to free us from condemnation. Ask Him to help you live in the Spirit.
