Daily Bible Reading—July 2024, God’s Guiding Word: Mercy and Forgivenessਨਮੂਨਾ

July 7
Introduction
Jeremiah 3:6–18: The unfaithfulness of Israel and Judah is described. Both nations are told to repent and return to the LORD.
Today’s Key Verse: Jeremiah 3:12b
[The LORD said:] “Come back to me. I am merciful and will not be angry; I will not be angry with you forever.”
Reflect
Reread verses 6–10. How are Israel and Judah described? What was Jeremiah told to say (verses 11–13)? What does God promise in return for the people’s confession (verses 14–18)? What do you need to confess to God today?
Pray
Merciful and loving God, I confess __________________. Thank you for your constant faithfulness, for forgiving me, and for restoring me to a right relationship with you. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Jeremiah 4:1–4: The LORD issues a call to repentance.
