Rhythm of Rest: Following Jesus' Pace in a Busy Worldਨਮੂਨਾ

In the world of running, pace is all about finding a consistent rhythm to help run farther and longer. To “dwell in the house of the Lord forever” is not a hurried life. It is a life that intentionally chooses to grow and walk with Jesus consistently. Keeping pace with Jesus means watching the way that he lives and matching it step by step. Jesus says it clearly in Matthew 11:28-30–come to him, follow him, learn from him, and find rest.
Staying connected to Jesus leads to a slow and steady growth which leads to a productive life. When we live the pace of Jesus by staying connected to him, the people around us will know and see that we are his disciples. This way of living changes the trajectory of our lives and the lives of others. Go out, rest well, stay connected to Jesus, be changed, and change the world.

About this Plan

We all know what it feels like to be tired. We live in a world that seems to value always being involved in as many activities as possible so we don’t miss out. Jesus wants to take the heaviness in our lives from us, but true rest can only take place when we choose to follow him.
