Sit, Walk, Stand - a 40 Day Walk Through of Ephesiansਨਮੂਨਾ

Eph 6:10-11
Ephesians 6:10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
It’s very clear that Paul says, we need God’s strength to stand. This is done by applying our faith in prayer (v18).
Paul continues his imagery of “putting something on”. Putting on the “FULL armour” is about the WHOLE armour - defensively and offensively. This also serves as a warning and reminder that we are in a spiritual battle between good and evil. There is a devil who schemes and plans evil.
Jesus said:
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
We shouldn’t be paranoid or fearful. Jesus did say “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
No matter what you face, Christ in you is stronger than anything and anyone.
1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

About this Plan

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? The Christian walk can make you feel like striving when really everything has been done for you by Jesus, but there is still so much to be done. This is the tension every Christian walks in. The tension between the NOW & the NOT-YET. We are SEATED with Jesus, now WALK IT OUT, so that you may STAND.
