PRAYER FOR TODAY
Almighty God, we come before Your throne and meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wondrous works (Psalm 145:5). Your greatness is beyond understanding, and Your power knows no bounds. Your glory is evident throughout all creation; we cannot even comprehend how people can convince themselves that there is no God. For what can be known about You is plain to them because You have shown it to them (Romans 1:19).
Please empower us by Your Spirit to praise You today. We humbly confess that we can easily get caught up on this journey without acknowledging You. Please forgive us for our ungratefulness, even though we are fully aware that we wouldn't even have breath if it were not for You. May we be men and women who stand in awe of You, give You glory, and proclaim Your wonder.
