True Prosperity vs. The Riches of This Worldਨਮੂਨਾ

The Savior in a Manger
Listen to our friend Thato tell how our humble Savior came to us.
Caring for the poor was a primary mission for Jesus. He didn’t aim to make them rich but cared about their dignity and spiritual condition. Jesus read about the poor in the scroll of Isaiah when he made his public declaration of ministry: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor” (Luke 4:18 ESV). He later said that those who were “poor in spirit” (needy) were blessed because “theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matt 5:33 ESV). Jesus brought true prosperity—the good news about the kingdom of heaven—to the poor.
