The Sound of Victory (Living a Victorious Life Devotional)ਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 10: Be Unstoppable!
Today we need to step it up a level with a reality check. The ultimate victory for us isn’t here in this life. It’s Heaven. We need to remember that so we have the right perspective for the stuff we’ll all face today.
Jesus didn’t promise that if we follow Him, He’ll make our lives nice and easy, and that all our dreams will come true. He actually said some pretty different stuff than that. Now, make no mistake, living for God will lead you to live your best life! He promises to provide for you and give you the desires of your heart. It’s the greatest adventure but living in victory isn’t about a comfy life. It’s actually about deciding that you’re living for Jesus, no matter what - if it costs you friends, if it’s hard, if it hurts… no matter what. It’s a sacrifice but if you’re all in, you’re unstoppable!
Jesus told His disciples that some people would hate them because of Him. He said that if they wanted to be His disciples they had to take up their cross and follow Him. Some of them literally did lose their lives because of their faith. Heavy? Yes, but did they lose? No way! They won! That seems crazy if you think that this is all just about this life, but when you realise that this is about Heaven and eternity, then nothing in this world will stop you!
Let’s put our focus on Heaven and make a powerful decision to follow Jesus no matter what it costs us today!

About this Plan

The Bible says in Romans 5:17 that through Jesus we can “reign in life.” Jesus also said that He came to give us life in all of its fullness. Jesus died and rose again so that you could live in victory. He won so that we could win WITH Him… not defeated, not down, not lacking but free, strong and victorious - getting better every day!
