Walking With Godਨਮੂਨਾ

With you every step of the way
This might seem as insultingly obvious as my last two devotions, but “walking with God” implies walking with God. It means that your entire life is not a lonely journey to God but instead a lengthy journey with God. God is with you every step of the way to encourage you, listen to you, and carry you when necessary.
King David loved that aspect of his walk. In his most famous song, he wrote, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me” (Psalm 23:4). The road of life can take you through some pretty dark valleys, but you don’t have to be afraid, because you are walking with God.
Are you grieving today? Rubbing aching joints? Praying for your headache to go away? Stressed by family drama and frustrated by your continual struggle with sin or the lack of struggle by a loved one living in sin? Do you see no solution to the brokenness of our culture or your family tree? If so, don’t be afraid. Your faith is not a walk to God. It’s a walk with God. And your Father won’t let you take a single step without being right by your side.
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
