WHAT? What is this passage about?

We've been talking this week about how sin isn't the end of the story. What was God's response to the mistake Adam and Eve made?

SO WHAT? Why does it matter?

• Why do you think there had to be consequences for the wrong Adam and Eve committed?
• When you read this passage, do any of your own mistakes come to mind?

NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?

• Have you ever tried to hide a mistake from a parent, teacher, or other authority? What happened?
• God comes looking for us even when we try to hide. How is God present in your life even when you feel avoidant?
• What's something you can do to come clean about a mistake or a sin and move closer to God in the process?
