Good Callਨਮੂਨਾ

Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!
S: Scripture
If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then summarize it in your own words.
O: Observation
Read Proverbs 16:24 again.
- What stands out to you?
- What does it teach us about choosing words that show God's love?
- What questions do you still have?
A: Application
- What does it look like to show God's love with encouraging words?
- What does this passage invite you to do differently in approaching conflict or disagreement?
- What do you think could change in your relationships if you do?
P: Prayer
Spend some time in prayer about a person you could show God's love to through your words. Ask for patience in the relationship. Then, say thank you for all the ways God is patient and loving toward you.

About this Plan

Coaches create the strategy, put together a game plan, and send their players out to make it happen. Wouldn't it be nice for someone to do that for all of our decisions? In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll explore Proverbs and Epistles to help us learn how God guides us toward wisdom and helps us make godly decisions.
