Restartਨਮੂਨਾ

Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!
S: Scripture
If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then summarize it in your own words.
O: Observation
Read Romans 6:1–7 again.
- What stands out to you?
- What does this passage invite us to do when we feel we've failed God?
- What questions do you still have?
A: Application
- Do you recognize any mistakes or harmful choices that you repeatedly make?
- What does this passage invite you to do differently next time you find yourself making those choices?
- How do you think your relationship with Jesus could change for the better if you do that?
P: Prayer
Spend some time praying about an area where you're struggling. Thank God for the promise of grace! Then, ask for help living differently.

About this Plan

In video games, when you face challenges and make mistakes there's always the option to start over. In real life, it's not so easy to recover, but Jesus gives us a chance to restart — no matter how difficult our circumstances. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll look at people who needed God's help to give them a restart and discover how to trust God's promises.
