Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times.” And he broke down and wept.

- WORD - Jesus’ word declared what would happen.
- WARNING - Peter ignored the warning (first rooster).
- WITNESS - The second rooster indicted him.
- WEEPING - Peter responded with shame and sorrow.
- WAY BACK - Jesus Himself forgave and restored Peter (John 21:15-19).
JOURNAL POINTS:
- What is something you have been ashamed of?
- How long have you been carrying the shame?
- Give it to Jesus. He already knows.
