The Gospel of Markਨਮੂਨਾ

Although the stories may not seem similar on the surface, there are some interesting parallels with the healing of the woman and that of Jairus’s daughter. The woman suffered for 12 years, and the girl who died was 12 years old. The woman is considered impure and Jesus risks defilement by going into a house where lies a corpse (the girl). Jesus calls the woman “daughter” and Jairus’s daughter rises to enter womanly life. When reading today, can you see more details of how this story works together in parallels?
