Unlock Your Courage Withinਨਮੂਨਾ

Pray for Your Country
Do you regularly pray for your country? When you do, are you genuinely broken over its condition? Consider Nehemiah’s passionate plea recorded in Nehemiah chapter 1.
When Nehemiah heard about Jerusalem’s condition of trouble and disgrace, he was heartbroken. He immediately humbled himself and began fasting and praying. In his prayer, Nehemiah praised God’s greatness and recognized God’s loving kindness. In his heartfelt confession, Nehemiah pleaded with God to remember his promise to intervene for the sake of Judah’s future.
Reflect: Read 1 Timothy 2:1–4 and write a plea to the Lord today courageously confessing the sins of the nation, begging God to intervene.
Pray: Father, you are sovereign and holy. Thank you for your unconditional love and forgiveness. Inspire me to pray faithfully for my country and give me courage to be a source of inspiration for others to do the same.
