When it comes to figuring out how to use a new item, people usually do one of two things: They either read all of the instructions before they start, or they dive right in, hoping to figure it out themselves. I think we can all agree that the second option leads to a lot of frustration. Even if we start strong, eventually, we end up confused or stuck on what to do next. That’s why it’s such great news that we don’t have to approach our faith in the same way. We don’t have to figure out what God has called us to do or how we’re supposed to live out our faith. Instead, we can look to God’s Word to know what we’re called to do: love God, follow God’s leading, and show God’s love by serving others.
