Serving as a Friendਨਮੂਨਾ

Comes right back to you
There's this line from the Beatles' last songs that's always uplifted me: "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." I've found this to be incredibly true in service. When I'm helping others, there's this surge of energy and a warmth that fills my heart. It's not about me anymore; my own issues fade into the background. I feel grateful for the life I’ve been given and for the chance to share God’s word.
In those moments of service, I feel a deep connection to Jesus, almost as if He’s right there beside us. Sometimes I find myself saying things that just come from nowhere—it feels like the Holy Spirit speaking through me, just as it did with the apostles. And that feeling doesn’t just disappear when I’m done; it lingers, it sustains me, it motivates me to keep going. My whole outlook on life shifts; it's like that Beatles tune—whatever love I put out into the world, it circles back to me.
