Prayers for a Financial Resetਨਮੂਨਾ

Finances are an inevitable part of the human experience, and oftentimes, even the mention of money causes stress and anxiety. I once heard someone say “it’s expensive being alive” and funnily enough, that’s a true statement.
When worry and anxiety start becoming our default state, we need to make a change. When our fears are louder than our faith, it’s time for a reset. Although we can’t control every single thing that happens to us in our life, we can a) control how we react, b) stay as prepared as possible and c) make faith the focus.
I’ve authored several devotional plans around finances; feel free to check them out. This one, however, combines my work as a debt-free advocate and an ordained minister.
I want to pray with you and for you during the next three days.
Let’s clear our heads and open our hearts.
Lord, thank you for your promise to meet all my needs. May I remember your Word when times get tough and my worries begin to pile up.
Dear God, thank you for being a constant protector and provider and for shielding me from what’s not for me and making a way for what is.
In Isaiah 54:17 You say that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
I have a very clear and well-intentioned mission to focus on my finances this year, Lord, and I humbly ask for wisdom, patience and resilience. I don’t expect that the journey will be easy, God, but I trust You and your Word.
You have never failed me and you won’t start now. Great is your mercy forever and ever.
Amen.
