God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)ਨਮੂਨਾ

David as a Child - 2/5
David had seven brothers, all of whom seemed more suited for kingship than David. At least, by people’s standards. But the Lord didn’t look at people’s standards—he looked at David’s heart. He knew David, who he was at the core, his fears and doubts, and his willingness to serve the Lord. The best part, God didn’t expect him to lead a nation on his own. From the day David was anointed, the Spirit of the Lord was with him.
We may be tempted to assume we are not the person for the job. Surely God could find someone more fitting. Maybe it’s a fear we have, a skill we are lacking, a sin we are struggling with, or a general feeling of mediocrity. When God chooses us for something, big or small, we can be sure He did not make the decision lightly. And like David, He will not leave us to do it alone. He will be with us in all things He calls us to.
