Hurtਨਮੂਨਾ

Find an object close to you and stare at it for 10 seconds without blinking. When you’re so focused on that one object, everything else around it becomes blurry. It’s like your eyes aren’t concerned with anything but that one thing. In this same way, thinking about friendships can be tough when we feel like we don’t have good ones. We might get so focused on what friends do or don’t do for us that we forget to be good friends to others. What if instead of focusing on ourselves, we set our mind toward being a good friend to someone else? What might change if we let how we live and love others be our primary focus?
Today, intentionally reach out to someone and ask them how they’re doing. Do your best to get below the surface in your conversation. Don’t feel the pressure to have all the answers. Instead, be content just being there for them however they need.
