Gratitude in Community

Daily Thought:

Like yesterday’s reading, Paul uses Colossians 3 to provide a practical means of participating in community as the body of Christ. In this case, thankfulness is central to creating unity in God’s family. As we gather to worship the Lord, the act of thankfulness from a place of gratitude brings about a peace that unites all those who adhere to God’s word.

Scripture Excerpt:

Colossians 3:15-16, ESV

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Prayer Point:

Take the time to pray specifically for your church today. Find gratitude in being a part of God’s family in the unique setting of Celebration Church. Specifically, pray for unity and peace among God’s people as we worship God as a family.
