Jesus' arrival shows us that good things don't always show up in the way we expect them to. He shows us that our circumstances don't always tell the entire story. Jesus showed up in a challenging environment, to say the least. He was born in a stable surrounded by animals! Today, we can choose what we focus on amid life's circumstances. We have the opportunity to choose life with our thoughts, words, and actions. We can be people who bring life into every situation because of what we focus on. Life-lifting is simply a decision to think the best and speak the best, no matter our circumstances.

Prayer

Jesus, amid life's challenges, would I think the best and speak the best. Give me a LIFE-LIFTING spirit.
