Daily in the Word 365ਨਮੂਨਾ

Choose to answer one or more of the following questions from today's reading:
- In Genesis 21, we see the Lord fulfilling his promises to Abraham just as he said. In chapter 17 we see Abraham asking God to instead fulfill his promise through Ishmael because he didn't believe it could happen through himself and Sarah in their old age. Why is it always better for us to simply trust God?
- Doubt is the opposite of faith. When Peter went in faith, he was able to walk on water to the Lord. When he started to focus on the raging wind, he became fearful and doubt crept in. Why does God want you to be filled with faith and not doubt?
