Dealing With Discouragementਨਮੂਨਾ

Dealing with Discouragement
All of us will experience discouragement in our lives from time to time. But the way we choose to process the feeling will determine whether we stay down when we fall or dust ourselves off and get back up again.
While disappointment is natural, it is important to guard our souls from heeding the spirits of dejection, depression, and despondency.
Ironically, all of these words are synonymous with the word discouragement; a term the Cambridge dictionary defines as a “depletion of confidence and enthusiasm.”
If you didn’t get the message by now, let me remind you. In life, not only will we make mistakes, but we will also face challenges arising out of situations that may not have necessarily been our fault. How we choose to react to these situations will ultimately determine our success.
Hope builds faith, and faith, in turn, keeps us connected to the Father. On the contrary, discouragement has the potential to breed despair, and this emotion, if not handled with care, can deplete faith and sever our lifeline to God.
