Jesus Isਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 6: High priest and/or sacrifice
In the Jewish tradition, all our sins required a sacrifice, and a priest was set apart to offer that sacrifice to God. Jesus plays both these parts. He is the perfect sacrifice, but he is also the one who offers it. He offers Himself. How can He play both roles at the same time and fulfill the requirements of each?
1) Which of these two parts of Jesus am I more comfortable with? Why?
2) What can I learn about Jesus and put into practice from accepting the part of Jesus that comes less naturally to me?
3) Write a short statement to remind yourself of these multi-faceted truths about Jesus.
a) Hebrews 3:1
b) Hebrews 4:14-16
c) John 1:29
d) 1 Corinthians 5:7
e) 1 Peter 3:18
About this Plan

This December, we want to celebrate who JESUS IS. He is much more than we can comprehend; He is so good and multi-faceted! This reading plan will serve as an opportunity to look deeper into the many aspects of Jesus this holiday season. This plan was created by Madeleine Weidemann.
