Have you ever tried to look at something under a microscope? You have to position your eyes just right to see the object clearly. Sometimes, it takes a few minutes, but once you get it, your vision is opened to something you would have never seen unless you were trained to do so.
Seeing the injustices of the world is similar. You'll never see them if you don’t know where to look and what they are. Before we can do anything to help those in need, we first have to be able to see the needs. It will take time and effort, and we may miss some things along the way. But the more we can be aware of injustice happening around us, the more we’ll be able to speak up.
Today, spend time in prayer, asking God to give you clear eyes to see those around you in need.
