Loveਨਮੂਨਾ

Peter and John heard that the stone was rolled away from Jesus’ tomb, and His body was gone. John outraced Peter to the scene, but, when he got there, he hesitated to go into the tomb. You may get excited by scary things, but to walk into an open tomb where a dead body is no longer lying would give anyone hesitation, right?
Not Peter though.
The prospect of something more happening to Jesus pressed Peter on despite any fear or hesitation. His love for Jesus propelled him toward Jesus, even when he didn’t know that’s where he was headed. And the hope today is that the same might be true for us!
Today, ask yourself, “What is something I wouldn’t do for Jesus?” Now, consider the fear behind that thought. What’s holding you back? As you think about it, pray that Jesus’ love will push you forward without hesitation.
