Twenty Five Days of Christmas Devotionsਨਮੂਨਾ

Among the numerous descendants of King David that were eligible to fulfil the prophecy of the coming Messiah, God chose Joseph and Mary, not because of their extraordinary talents or exceptional achievements, but because in their humility they submitted wholeheartedly to the purpose of God in their lives, even at the risk of social rejection.
Pride is revealed not just in our actions but in the thoughts and attitudes of our heart. One who takes pride in his appearance, wisdom, or possessions will find it hard to submit to the will of God. God’s ways are so much higher and greater than ours. When we hold on to our pride and ego, we will struggle to accept the higher plans of God. But when we repent of our pride and humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord, He will exalt us in the higher path that He has chosen for us.

About this Plan

There is no better season than Christmas to dwell on the reason for the season. Over the next 25 days, we will look back at some key prophecies relating to the promised Messiah. We will also observe the lives and circumstances that surrounded the birth of Jesus. Above all, we will see how Jesus makes a difference in our lives both now and forever.
