Pray the Wordਨਮੂਨਾ

Every Word of God Proves True
What a promise in today's proverb—every word of God proves true! When we read the Bible, the inspired Word of God, we can have the utmost confidence. It is inerrant, that is, without error, totally truthful in all that it teaches. In all 66 books of the Bible, you can know that every word you read is true. Every. Single. Word.
Just think of the security that brings. Since God’s Word is completely true, it makes sense for the second part of today's verse to say, “He is a shield for him who takes refuge in him.” We find refuge in the God who is true, the God who has spoken. This stands in contrast to so many things in this world that are not reliable, things that don’t prove true in the end. Our God is faithful, so we can bank our lives and our eternity on his promises.
Prayer
God, we thank you for your Word. Even as we read this particular proverb, we thank you for this gift you’ve given us, the true word that you’ve entrusted to us in the 66 books of the Bible. We praise you that none of these books have any errors in them, that they are a true revelation of you and a true foundation for us.
God, help us to find refuge every single day in the reliability of your Word. Help us to stand on it, believe it, and obey it. May we live our lives according to your Word, knowing that your promises will always prove true. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
