The Great Commissionਨਮੂਨਾ

It may be fairly said that the Apostle Paul was primarily referring to the Lord’s focus on evangelism when he wrote, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1)
The key word for us is – example! The Lord taught the twelve in a group, but He also trained them by consistently giving them opportunities to watch Him as He ministered.
The Lord intentionally modeled His relational disciple-making methodology because He knew His apostles would soon be needing to apply what they had observed Him do on many different occasions. Every new character quality, ministry skill, and kingdom related insight which they needed – would naturally be passed on to their own future trainees, and to "faithful men who can teach others also."
This lifestyle would become normal through their time spent with the growing new believers. They would potentially become the next generation of Christian leaders. By personally following the Lord’s example, each new generation of disciples would most effectively ensure the completion of His Great Commission!
