14 Prayers for a Widow's Journeyਨਮੂਨਾ

...see, the Lion...worthy is the Lamb...
The sunset is a soft lavender with pink streaks tonight. No flaming glory. Just gentle beauty. I need gentle, dear Lamb of God, after the drama and heartache of his death. Your invitation to come and find rest is a balm to my bruised heart.
Then the gentle sunset becomes a brilliant streak of red and gold and purple burning along the horizon. I’m reminded of Your boldness, Your power, O Lion of the tribe of Judah. When I need You to be my strength, You are -
Lamb and Lion. Lion and Lamb. The One who soothes and the One who strengthens. My Savior.
See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has triumphed. Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain.
Revelation 5:5,12 NIV
