Faith & Love: A One Year Bible Reading Plan - Part 11ਨਮੂਨਾ

Today’s Chapter is 2 John 1, and today’s verse of the day is:

"And this is love: that we walk in accordance with His commandments and are guided continually by His precepts. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should [always] walk in love." 2 John 1:6

From this Scripture, we learn two fundamental things that impact our daily life:

1. We need to be guided by Him.

God wants to lead us to discover who He is.

To walk in love, you need to be guided by His love.

In Christ, we see God’s love for us demonstrated.

This love empowers us to live lives where we can walk in love.

2. We need to walk in love.

Walking in love is a daily thing. We are summoned to do it as this gives testimony of what we believe and shows people how God loves them.

When we walk in love, people will see God. This was God's intention with us from the start.

Have I surrendered my life to be guided by Him?

How can His love be demonstrated in my daily walk?
