KINDNESS IN ACTION
Today's Scripture:
Do not let mercy and kindness and truth leave you [instead, let these qualities define you];
Bind them [securely] around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
Proverbs 3:3 AMP
Think about this:
When we have experienced cruel and merciless behavior from others, it can often be difficult to extend kindness to others, or even to ourselves. However, we have God's kindness deposited into our hearts. When we feel like it is difficult to be kind, we can ask Him to help us.
Journaling prompt 1:
Are you kind towards yourself? Do you feel worthy of the kindness of God, and others?
Journaling prompt 2:
Have you experienced insensitive or cruel behavior from others? Is there someone you need to forgive? Ask God to help you identify and forgive them. See Him remove all the hurt from your heart. Thank Him for the kindness that He has poured into your beautiful heart.
Say this out loud today:
God floods my life with His kindness every day. He forgives me, and I forgive those who wrong me.
